Transparency

Have you ever thought about the people and processes that make it possible for you to enjoy your cup of coffee? The many hands, the craftsmanship, and the journey behind it?

For us, coffee is about exactly that. It’s about connections, collaboration, and respect for the craftsmanship that goes into every single cup. And we believe that the path to great coffee begins with the people who grow the beans.

All too often, the supply chain overlooks the people and stories that make coffee possible. We don’t. We believe that transparency is the key to creating a more equitable and sustainable coffee industry. That’s why we are committed to sharing the full story behind our coffee—how much we buy, at what price, and most importantly, from whom.

Quality Bonus

As part of our commitment to openness and accountability, we signed the Transparency Pledge in 2019. A key element of this commitment is our Quality Bonus, an additional payment we make above the market price to reward producers for their dedication to quality and flavor. This is our way of ensuring that coffee farmers receive fair compensation that truly reflects the value of their craftsmanship.

Transparency is at the core of how we do business. When you drink a cup of coffee from Coffee Collective, you are supporting a more open and sustainable future for coffee, one cup at a time.

Transparency Report

While sipping on a cappuccino, have you ever wondered, how many hands have been involved in the journey of that cup of coffee?

It's a number that can be difficult to figure out. The coffee supply chain, like many others, often lacks transparency. At Coffee Collective, we've given a lot of thought to the individuals involved in the process of transforming coffee beans from a cherry to a roasted bean. Every day, we strive to share their stories and enhance the transparency of the coffee supply chain.

We have laid out all the numbers for you.

Collective Forest

At Coffee Collective, we believe that bold action is needed to address the climate crisis.

That’s why we planted the Collective Forest in November 2023—a key initiative to minimize the environmental impact of our activities.

Spanning 21 hectares near Slagelse on Zealand, Denmark, this forest is more than just trees; it’s a vision for a sustainable future.
