The farmer
El Desarollo is a cooperative where each farmer has their own wet mill. For this coffee, 36 farmers has contributed with beans. We have sourced coffee from El Desarollo since 2012.
Quality Bonus
We work by the values of transparent trade. This helps create a healthy relationship with the farmer and financial sustainability for them.
We pay a quality bonus to El Desarollo, that is 151% above market price. ($3.53/lb FOB). The quality bonus allows the farmer to continue to produce higher quality coffee.
