Organic Cooperative

Triunfo Verde is a cooperative of over 440 smallholder coffee farmers located in the buffer zone of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve in Chiapas, Mexico. This protected cloud forest is home to exceptional biodiversity, and agricultural activity is only permitted where it supports environmental conservation.

The cooperative places strong emphasis on environmental education, agronomic training, and financial and social support for its members. They also actively promote gender equality and social justice among producers.

Comitted to High Quality and Sustainability

Cherries are allowed to mature fully on the tree, then carefully hand-picked. After de-pulping, they are fermented in tanks for 24–36 hours, washed, and dried on patios for about one week. This is our second year working with Triunfo Verde, and we’re proud to share the results of their commitment to quality, sustainability, and community.
