Jimena Choque Mamani is a young female coffee producer from the relatively unknown area of Kantutani in west Bolivia. Despite the limited exposure and low payments common in this region, she has maintained a strong commitment to producing high-quality coffee.
Her approach emphazises sustainable practices, focusing on growing coffee in harmony with nature.
Quality Bonus
We work by the values of transparent trade. This helps create a healthy relationship with the farmer and financial sustainability for them.
We pay a quality bonus to Jimena Mamani that is 114% above market price ($4.5/lb FOB). The quality bonus allows the farmer to continue to produce higher quality coffee.
