Reinaldo began farming at a young age, and at 14 he managed a section of his family's land. He has since established his own plot just outside the historic centre of San Agustín, which he has steadily grown to 4 hectares.



His wife Mariela, who also comes from a coffee-growing family, has been a partner in the work from the start. Together they bring a combined depth of knowledge to both cultivation and processing.

Ten years ago, Mariela's sister María Rovira Muñoz, one of the first to introduce Pink Bourbon to the San Agustín area, shared seeds with the family. María later placed 6th at the 2022 Cup of Excellence with her own Pink Bourbon lot.
