The farmer
Located in Sidama in Southern Ethiopia, Rumudamo Coffee Trading is run by a small group of shareholders who work with 35 farmers from the nearby area. After having processed Natural coffees for the past 5 years, Rumudamo recently expanded their business with a wet mill in order to process washed coffee as well. We are astounded by the amazing job they did in producing such a fantastic coffee with such a new setup.
Quality Bonus
We work by the values of transparent trade. This helps create a healthy relationship with the farmer and financial sustainability for them.
We pay a quality bonus to Rumudamo Trading that is 11590% above market price ($108.20/lb FOB). The quality bonus allows the farmer to continue to produce higher quality coffee.
