The farmer

Kii Factory is run by the Rungeto Society cooperative consisting of 850 small farmers and managed by Danson Kangi. Established in 1997, this cooperative is known for producing exceptional high quality. This coffee was exclusively introduced in our Surprise Subscription last year and is now available on our coffee menu.

At Kii, the coffee is carefully processed to bring out its full flavour and aroma, delivering a truly enjoyable cup of coffee.

Quality Bonus

We work by the values of transparent trade. This helps create a healthy relationship with the cooperative and financial sustainability for them.

We pay a quality bonus to Kii that is 47% above market price ($4.31/lb FOB). The quality bonus allows the farmer to continue to produce higher quality coffee.
