The farmer

Aman Adinew owns the farm, which is run by him and his brother’s company, METAD Agricultural Development. A company, that collaborates with a range of agronomists to continue to develop the quality in the coffee. The way they run their farm is an inspiration to all working in this industry.

We work by the values of transparent trade. This helps create a healthy relationship with the farmer and financial sustainability for them.

We pay a quality bonus to Aman Adinew that is 216% above market price ($4.50/lb FOB). The quality bonus allows the farmer to continue to produce higher quality coffee.
