Roastery Manager
We are looking for a new Roastery Manager to lead our Roastery on Frederiksberg. We aim to start the position March 1st 2023.
We are seeking a skilled person to manage the daily operations of our roastery incl. hands-on work in the roastery. The ideal candidate has management experience from a production environment, excellent organizational skills and great interest in staff management, logistics and optimizing production flow. Prior roasting experience is seen as a positive but is not a prerequisite.
You will be referring directly to the company’s CEO.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Staff management / Leading a team of 4
- Production flow, logistics and optimization
Roast schedules
Inventory Management
Warehouse, production and storage areas
- Hands - on Production (Roast, pack, logistics)
- Continuous work on improving the sustainability of the roastery
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
Management experience
- From Production and/or Food industry
- Staff Management
Personnel qualifications
- Good planning skills
- Organized person
- Motivated to join and lead a core department in continuous development
- Good with numbers
- Good communication skills
Seen as a bonus if you are/have:
- Experience with Coffee
- Comfortable of using IT to support production and planning
- A keen interest in flavor and coffee
- A driving license is considered a plus
- Danish Language skill is preferred but not essential, English can work as well.
Working hours are 37 hours per week and lay mainly between Monday-Friday 07-17.

Practicalities
We expect the chosen applicant to be dedicated to pursuing this role for a minimum of two years to learn, contribute and grow with our roastery in a sustainable manner. The chosen applicant will negotiate wage for the position based on their experience and skills.
