Are you passionate about coffee, sustainability, and leadership? Coffee Collective is looking for a motivated Roastery Manager to lead our roasting and production operations.

In this role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the roastery while maintaining high production quality. You’ll collaborate closely with our sales, sourcing, and finance teams.

As the Roastery Manager, your responsibilities will include

  • · Production Shifts: Perform general production tasks to maintain quality and ensure workflow efficiency.
  • · Roastery Leadership: Manage daily operations, including inventory control and production planning.
  • · Production Planning and Optimization: Streamline production and deliveries to meet the needs of our sales departments.
  • · Administrative Follow-up: Track and report production figures and manage the roastery's budget.
  • · Team Management: Oversee scheduling, absenteeism, recruitment, and training of the roastery staff.
  • · Material Procurement: Ensure timely ordering of packing materials and production supplies.
  • · Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of production areas and equipment.
  • · Cross-department Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships between the roastery, sales, sourcing, and finance teams.
  • · Sustainability: Work continuously to improve the sustainability of roastery processes and production.
We are seeking a Roastery Manager

Who are you?
We are seeking a Roastery Manager with leadership experience in a production environment and a deep interest in coffee. You thrive in a role that combines managing the production floor and handling administrative processes. You're proactive, have a sharp eye for optimizing workflows, and are committed to improving sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

  • · Experience managing production teams, ideally within the food industry.
  • · Strong organizational skills and experience in production planning.
  • · Financial acumen with experience in budget management.
  • · Personnel management experience, including hiring, scheduling, and training.
  • · Familiarity with sustainability initiatives is a plus.
  • · Passion for coffee and the desire to work in a dynamic company.
  • · Proficient communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.

You will report directly to our CEO and work closely with the roastery’s QC team.
