This weekend the biggest and best coffee event in Denmark since the WBC in 2008 took place in Århus under the name Dansk Kaffeshow. The event was there to celebrate coffee in all manners, showcase different roasters and machines, and host the 2016 Danish Barista Championship, Brewers Cup and Cup Tasting Championship – With winners going on to represent Denmark in the World Championships in Dublin later this year.

We were very proud to be a bronze sponsor for this event as well as having a small booth, where we served lots of coffee to a ton of enthusiastic people. It was fantastic to see so many people interested in coffee and wanting to talk and learn and taste.

A big thanks goes out to the organizers of Dansk Kaffeshow 2016, SCAE Denmark and Espressobar, who put on a tremendous show. We’re already looking forward to next year, with hopefully many more participants in the competitions as well.
