The Fellow Opus is the perfect all-round grinder. The conical burr set gives you a very refined particle size distribution for all grind settings and brewing methods; from coarse for french press and hand brewing to super fine for espresso.
The grinder has a low noise level and a powerful motor. The built-in antistatic technology and magnetic catch cup make it a joy to use.
Correctly adjusting your grind size is important to get the best brewing result. The grind settings are easy to navigate and the grinder comes with a Get To Know You Guide with ratio recommendations and grind settings. Grind size is adjusted on the adjustment ring from fine (1) to coarse (11) with 41 grind settings in all and can match any of your preferred brewing methods.
Our grind range is coarser than what Fellow suggests, but we see this as a starting point:
Espresso: 2.1 - 3.0
Moka pot: 5.0 - 6.0
V60: 6.1 - 6.3
Aeropress: 6.2 - 7.0
Kalita Wave: 7.0 - 7.2
Cupping: 8.0
Moccamaster: 10
