Takesi Geisha

Bolivia

takesi geisha

Super intense and complex aroma. Clean and honey sweet, delicate acidity. Apricot, jasmine and bergamot in the aroma.

Takesi is one of the most exciting farms we’ve been working with. The farm is owned by the Iturralde family and managed by Juvenal Quijhua who, with a totally unique understanding of nature and detail, has fulfilled the high ambitions of the family and created coffees of exceptional quality. The coffee fields are some of the highest located in the whole world, up to 2600 meters above sea level. The 1.5 meters layer of humus, combined with the shade conditions, gives a very special terroir that contribute to the high quality.

We’ve paid 29 times market price (40 $/lb FOB) for this sublime quality. Roasted light.

We only roast Takesi Geisha when we have enough orders for a batch, but usually we’re sending the same week.
