Fincas Los Rodriguez, Coco Natural

Bolivia

Fresh coffee with an intense vinous acidity. Taste and aromas of pear cider, plum vinegar as well as floral top notes of orange blossom.

The Rodriguez family have several farms in Bolivia such as Alasitas where these Caturra beans are from.

After harvesting, the berries are first sun-dried and then dried in special machines at low heat to avoid UV radiation. The careful drying gives the berries a fine cocoa color, which has given them the name Coco Natural.

We’ve paid 264% above market price ($5/lb FOB) and have roasted this coffee lightly to highlight its wild acidity.
